JanSwasthya Kalyan Vahika^TM

Janswasthya Kalyan Vahika is a mobile community healthcare project serving the poor in the rural and urban areas. 43 JSK vans have distributed free medicines and diagnosed more than 45,60,000 patients till date.

The program primarily focuses on providing wide range of awareness, preventive and curative primary healthcare services to the beneficiaries. Each of these medical vans caters to approximately 15 to 16 locations per week and diagnoses approximately 100 to 150 patients per day. These medical vans run 6 days a week and cover the assigned locations on rotational basis. A referral system to the nearest Govt. hospital is in place to ensure timely treatment and cure of the patients. There are fixed nodal points to which the medical van caters to every week.

JanSwasthya Kalyan Vahika operates in Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Panvel, Mokhada, Thane, Savroli, Wada, Shahapur and Trimbakeshwar.

When I first met with the medical officers of Indiabulls Foundation, I had severe back pain. I did all the possible treatment including Ayurveda, but my pain did not reduce. Then I started to take medicine given by the medical officer of Indiabulls Foundation. After three months I completely recovered from the pain. It's been almost one and half years since JSKV of Indiabulls Foundation comes to our area regularly. We residents of Ganeshmurti Nagar wait for Indiabulls Foundation mobile medical van every Friday. Am so happy that Indiabulls Foundation mobile medical van comes ones in week in my area and taking care of our health. Our families preferred being untreated in order to avoid the huge expenses relating it. Since the time Indiabulls Foundation has started its JSKV in the slums, we all get free primary treatment from well trained and experienced doctors but also avail free medicines. Sometimes if the doctor feels he needs to refer us to a special doctor, he refers us to nearest hospital. In the mean time they counsel us about cleanliness, sanitation, nutrition and the dos and don'ts in terms of healthcare. I really like to say one thing, that the senior citizens and women with children get the first priority, which is very good. We hope that Indiabulls Foundation continues this good work for poor people. Thanks to Indiabulls Foundation for great work in community health.

Indiabulls Foundation Mobile Medical Van visits our slum regularly, once every week. As slum dwellers, we cannot afford to opt for treatment, as it involves lot of finance beyond our capacities. Thus, everyone here preferred staying untreated in order to avoid the huge expenses relating it. From the time Indiabulls Foundation started its JSKV in the slums. With this initiative, we all get free primary treatment from well trained and experienced doctors. Also we can avail free medicines for all disease at primary level. Senior citizens and women with children are given first priority in the queue. I thank IBF and hope the teams keep up the spirit to continue the great work in providing a better community health.

Its been almost 2 years; JSKV of Indiabulls Foundation visits our slum regularly. I am very thankful to Indiabulls Foundation and their team for spreading their reach in Mahim Koliwada. Few years back, I feel very weakness and not able to work for my family income. I did the all possible treatment including Ayurveda but nothing seemed to be effective. After consulting with IBF medical officer, they have informed me that I am suffering from Anemia. They provided me three months medicine and regular treatment for Anemia. After all efforts, I tried the medicine given by Medical Officer of Indiabulls Foundation JSKV. To my surprise, after three month, I am very healthy and happy now. Thank you so much Indiabulls Foundation for taking care of the health of Mahim Koliwada residents..!

Earlier we couldn go to doctors due lack of money. But now through Indiabulls Foundation Vans we tribal people are getting best quality treatment at no cost. The vans visit thrice a week in our area causing no shortage in medicine supply. This initiative is getting good response from local tribal residents as well...It a great help for a person like me with limited accessibility to such facilities. Also, my wife is availing free treatment services from the JSK vans. This specialty proved to be very helpful. Thanks to IBF and my prayers & good wishes for continuing the good work.
