Indiabulls Foundation has provided highly sophisticated E-learning setups in 25 schools at Sindhudurga, thus taking the total number of schools having IBF E-learning systems to 56 ashram schools and the total beneficiary count to 7400 children per year.
This initiative is for enhancing the quality of education in the rural areas of Maharashtra in the Sindhudurga district namely Kankavali, Vaibhavbadi and Devgad which has been extremely successful.
Each system consists of an audio- visual E- learning classroom set up consisting of a 55 inches television and a power backup.
The earlier 31 ashram schools were in the Thane, Palghar and Raigad districts.
A comprehensive training has also been provided to all the teachers of these schools in order to enable them to use this new methodology with ease in their everyday teaching.
The software installed in these systems includes Maharashtra State Board curriculum in Marathi & English medium for all subjects. This method of learning not only makes learning fun filled and interesting, but would help in improving the annual pass out ratio of the students, year after year.
